Biography:

Director of Shenzhen Design Society, Zhao has been responsible for the collaboration between China Merchants Group and the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) since 2012, and founded "Design Society". She oversees the organization's research and development and has curated several prominent exhibitions, including Dimensions of Digital(2017), New Generation of Craft (2018), The Value of Design in China (2020), Fashion from Nature (2020), Imperfect: Gaetano Pesce Solo Exhibition (2021), and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture – Virtual and Reality (2023).

Zhao has worked at renowned institutions such as The Clark Art Institute (2009), Williams College Museum of Art (2010), and the National Art Museum of China (2005-2008), and participated in the preparation of the Chinese Pavilion for the Venice Biennale (2005) in Beijing. In 2017, she was named a member of the Shenzhen Youth Federation.
