Biography:

Director of X Art Museum, also a Curator, with nearly 20 years of experience in art institutions. He specializes in contemporary art museum theory, urban and consumer culture, and cross-cultural collaboration. His work includes public art projects and government partnerships, and she has published over 100 articles and essays on art. Currently, he holds positions such as Committee Member of the Innovation Development Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the China Democratic League, Member of the Beijing 798 Art District Art Committee, Special Expert at the China Cultural Centers Association, Researcher at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and Consultant for government and corporate cultural projects. She also supports art initiatives across China. He has previously served as Art Director at UCCA Group, Head of the Ullens Foundation, Deputy Director of UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, Art Director at Shanghai Tang, and Vice General Manager of CIGE.

Recent exhibitions curated by his include: the 2018-2020 Beijing 798 Art Festival, the 2020 Gallery Weekend Beijing public art project "Plastic·Image," 2020's "Qin Siyuan: Garden Sound," 2021’s "The Turn of Images," 2022’s "The Shadow of Images," and the 2023 "Gaetano Pesce: Assemblage," among others. Since 2019, You Yang has curated projects focused on online platform-generated art, combining live artist performances to explore the expanding boundaries of art forms and audiences through digital media.
