Biography:
Asuka Kawabata, born in Tokyo, is a graphic designer and design educator. She holds a BA in Graphic Design from Tokyo Zokei University and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, as well as an MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art. Before joining the Kuwasawa Design School in Tokyo as a teacher in 2010, she served as the Head of Communication Design at Ab Rogers Design in London. Her work primarily focuses on branding and international exhibition design. Asuka has received numerous prestigious awards, including the D&AD and Ruth Drew Awards. She has collaborated with prominent clients and renowned museums, such as Miller Harris, PwC, FULLCIRCLE, Tate Modern, the V&A, the Centre Pompidou, ACMI, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, and the Museo d'Arte Moderna di Bologna.
