MORF FROM FORM FORM MORF

Course description:

MORF FROM FORM FORM MORF is a collaborative, associative, morphological, transdisciplinary journey.
In MFFFM we will produce a diverse series of works using an associative, morphological method. Starting from archival imagery we develop forms that emerge from other forms in an associative manner. The result is a series of outcomes of which each work is always a reaction to the previous work of another participant. The method invites us to develop a flexible approach, and work on solutions when it is not immediately clear how to proceed. The series of works created in this way will be diverse and experimental, it may range from type to textile and from videos to spatial objects, and everything in between. The works, sometimes visible sometimes less so, will all relate to each other. Of equal importance as the works is their documentation, it is to this that your fellow students will respond. We will work on treating documentation as an autonomous part of the design process.
