Applicant Eligibility

1、Individuals aspiring to pursue further studies in design abroad, professional designers, and design and art enthusiasts.
2、Priority will be given to applicants who have obtained or are about to obtain the N2 Japanese Language Proficiency Certificate.

Limited Enrollment

DSa×Kuwasawa Institute follows a small-class teaching model, with enrollment capped at 20 participants. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Language of Instruction

Courses are taught in the instructors’ native languages, with professional Chinese interpretation provided in the classroom.

Course Location

A2 Block, No.1 Chuangyi Road, Zhuantang Street, Xihu District, Hangzhou, China.

Tuition Fees

1.DSa X KDS: Two-month duration, tuition fee of 45,000 RMB per person.
2.Early Bird Discount: Register by May 20, 2026 to receive a 10% discount on the tuition fee.
3.Group Discount: Groups of 10 or more participants are eligible for a 10% discount on the tuition fee.
4.Alumni Discount: Returning students from previous DS or DSa programs receive a 10% discount on the tuition fee.  

Note:
1.The tuition fee covers course instruction only and does not include accommodation, transportation, or other expenses.
2.The above discount policies cannot be combined.

Admission Process

1.Submission of Materials：Prepare a PDF file including your personal profile, portfolio, sketches, and contact information. For motion works, please submit files in MP4 format.The total file size should not exceed 30MB. Please send the materials to info@designsummeracademy.com.
2.Application materials will be reviewed and approved collectively by the Academic Committee of “DSa × Kuwasawa Institute.”
3.If approved, you will receive an application form and program preference selection form via email. Please fill out the forms and return them to info@designsummeracademy.com.
4.Applicants must remit the tuition fee to the designated DS academy bank account according to the agreement.
5.The enrollment will be completed once the DS academy admissions office has received your application form, signed agreement, and tuition payment.
