Target Participants

Visual design professionals, faculty and students from design programs, individuals aspiring to study abroad, and design and art enthusiasts.

Course Selection System

1.The full four-session curriculum of DSa 26 is designed to immerse participants in the charm of cross-cultural design and maximize professional development.
2.Considering participants’ time constraints, DSa 26 also allows enrollment in individual sessions. Participants may flexibly choose any design practice course within the four available time periods.
3.Instructors will evaluate participants’ performance in each course. Those who meet the requirements will receive a DSa completion certificate.
4. As an in-depth extension of the course, the DSa 26 Public History & Theory is open to all DSa 26 participants; the Intercultural Forum will be open only to participants of that month.

Limited Enrollment

All 16 design practice courses in DSa 26’s four sessions follow a small-class teaching model, with each class capped at 20 participants. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Language of Instruction

Courses are taught in the instructors’ native languages, with professional Chinese interpretation provided in the classroom.

A2 Block, No.1 Chuangyi Road, Zhuantang Street, Xihu District, Hangzhou, China.

Tuition Fees

1.Each of the 16 design practice courses in DSa 26’s four sessions is priced at ¥11,500 RMB per participant.
2.Early Bird Discount: Register by May 20, 2026 to receive a 12% discount on the tuition fee.
3.Group Discount: Groups of 10 or more participants are eligible for a 12% discount on the tuition fee.
4.Alumni Discount: Returning students from previous DS or DSa programs receive a 12% discount on the tuition fee.
5.Multiple Course Discount: Participants who enroll in two or more courses simultaneously are eligible for a 15% discount on the tuition fee.

1.The tuition fee covers course instruction only and does not include accommodation, transportation, or other expenses.
2.The above discount policies cannot be combined.

Participation Process

1.Download and complete the “DSa 26” application form and agreement.
2.Send the completed application form and agreement to: info@designsummeracademy.com
3.Transfer the participation fee to the designated “DSa 26” bank account (bank details are provided in the agreement).
4.Registration is confirmed once the organizing committee has received the application form, agreement, and payment.
