Brief description:

Consumer products in daily life usually target people who are not related to art or design. These projects range from branding of local coffee shops and restaurants to package design of beverages, snacks and instant noodles sold in all cities around China. How to make a good design in the face of people with different incomes and aesthetic values in various regions? We need to find the answer through in-depth exploration and communication with the market. Many designers are not able to balance the requirements of clients and their design professions. What’s the reason for it? In this course, you may find professional persistence and marketing development in commercial design of branding and packaging.

Biography:

Lin Shaobin founded Linshaobin design in 2007, working as a graphic designer and art director. Over the years, he has specialized design in the consumer market and cooperated with a large range of clients: SONG, TATA, Tencent, Uni-President, Yeebao, Pechoin, Maxwell, Runben, etc.

He has served as a judge for D&AD and New York ADC, and has won gold and silver awards of New York One Show Design, New York ADC gold, silver and bronze awards, UK D&AD wooden pencil award, Germany IF gold award, USA IDEA bronze award, Hong Kong International Poster Triennial Gold award, Taiwan Graphic Design Biennale Gold award, UK Dezeen Annual award, USA Core77 champion, USA Dieline first place, Belgium Pentawards gold award, etc. more than 400 others.
