Multidisciplinary lectures (10%) are led by experts in contemporary art, design, film, curation, and other interdisciplinary fields, providing participants with multidimensional inspiration to cultivate artistic aesthetics and also bringing influences on design practices.
Biography:
Born in Hunan in 1985 and graduated from the Sculpture Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2011, he interweaves different aspects of daily Chinese life through actions, videos and art performances, exploring physical and material perception and social values. He practices his art in public space, natural environment and remote post-industrial regions. His works have been displayed around the world and some of them are collected permanently by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He has held his solo exhibitions in Shanghai, Eindhoven, New York, Manchester and others. His video "The Last Letter" was nominated for the Golden Key Award at the 37th Cassel Documentary Film Festival.
